You Are Here

Who Am I?

Hi, it's Naean Howlett-Foster here! I hope that you are doing well; thank you for checking me and my website out!

I'm a dedicated, home-based artist with an affinity for finely detailed pen drawings, however I like working with other mediums too. Additionally, I'm rather fond of photography.

Why Am I Looking For Financial Support?

My aim is to make a self-employed living via pursuing my creative passions. Akin to other kinds of businesses, I rely on very generous people in order to sustain a living.
Any and all financial support from others (Big and small.) means the world to me, and makes a real difference to my life.

If you choose to financially support me, please know that I am extremely grateful, and that you have made a positively impactful decision that assists me massively in maintaining a job that I love doing.

I cannot express in words just how helpful any and all financial contributions truly are, as well as the sheer joy it brings me to continue doing what I love, with the really kind donations of complete strangers backing me up along the way!

How Does Financial Support Specifically Help Me?

I believe that it is only right to be clear and transparent with people about what their money will be going towards.

Individuals have a solid right to know where their valuable money is going, and it is very important that I respect this.
Below is a list of areas in my life that donations and merchandise sales will positively contribute towards.

Paying Rent (Once every week.)
An all inclusive bill that also covers electricity, hot water, council tax, central heating, and broadband internet.

Minor Launderette Charges (Usually once or twice every week.)
I currently pay a small amount of money in order to be able to dry my laundry at a local launderette. I live in a scenario where replacing the broken laundry dryer is not feasible.

Art Shopping (As and when needed, usually not too regularly.)
Typically including, but not limited to: oil pastels, sketch pads, biro ink pens, cartridge paper, fibre tipped pens, led and colour pencils.

Grocery And Other Non-Art Based Shopping (At least once a week. Often more than twice a week.)
Typically including, but not limited to: foods and drinks, everyday living essentials, replacement device batteries.

Paying Website Costs (Once every 2 years.)
Including, but not limited to: file storage, editing abilities, hosting services, domain registration, bandwidth usage allowances, ability to maintain a large quantity of pages.

DeviantArt Core Membership (When it happens to expire. Varies based on special offers and/or if gifted to me by other DeviantArt members.)

Grants me useful DeviantArt website perks. Affects my profile page customisation options, and by extension, the ability to promote my art and photography in more ways.

Miscellaneous Expenses (Varying recurrences.)
Additionally, money will go towards technology related things, such as those occasions of upgrading to better equipment, or replacing outdated/defunct equipment. Some scenarios could be, for example, replacing my current computer with a more powerful one, buying more drives for file space, or getting a new scanner if my current one no longer works.

Furthermore, money will go towards periodically replenishing health and safety items for the building I live in. This includes things such as fire extinguishers and first aid plasters.

Moreover, money will go towards me buying cards and gifts for friends/family members for birthdays and Christmas. I may also use it to support fellow online content creators.

This list is quite exhaustive (And perhaps more in-depth than some other people would choose to disclose*.) however I believe that detail and clarity is absolutely paramount.

*This is by no means a dig at anyone in the slightest. Different things work for different people. It is up to each individual accepting financial support to decide what they disclose.

Only Financially Support Me If It's Reasonable For You

Please ensure that you do not over spend; I hate to think of people draining their financial stability for my sake. Only financially support me if it's feasible and your desire to.

If you do not support me financially, that is entirely understandable. The fact that you are on my website to begin with, is in itself something I'm very thankful of!
